Bruce Wallace, Chief Quality Officer, and Teresa Graydon, Customer Manager, attended the annual Goodfellow Symposium held March 23rd – 24th.
They saw yet again, an uptake in inquiry as encouragingly, interest in medicinal cannabis continues to grow.While all doctors they spoke with reported seeing a rise in patient enquiries about medicinal cannabis, there is still much to do to inform and educate our GP cohort.
Some GPs were unaware that any doctor can prescribe medicinal cannabis products for any condition. They were similarly unaware patients can have medicinal cannabis prescriptions filled at their pharmacy like any other medication.
As medicinal cannabis products are not funded, price remains a critical pain point for patients. Helius can only continue to lead the way in lowering prices for medicinal cannabis products to improve patient access.
